Acoustic Panel Installation Guide
The installation method of acoustic panels affects long-term stability, construction efficiency and final interior appearance. For PET polyester fiber acoustic panels, common installation methods include self-adhesive installation, glue installation and nail or screw fixing.
Self-adhesive installation is suitable for small wall areas, sample rooms, temporary displays and lightweight decorative applications. The backing is peeled off and the panel is applied directly to a flat wall surface. This method is simple and efficient for projects that require quick installation.
Glue installation is suitable for larger areas, longer service periods and projects that need stronger bonding stability. Construction adhesive is applied to the back of the panel before it is fixed to the wall. Compared with self-adhesive installation, this method is more suitable for engineering projects and commercial interiors.
Nail or screw installation is recommended for applications that require stronger mechanical fixing, such as certain ceiling systems, thicker panels, combined wall systems, partition structures or projects where future maintenance may be needed. This method offers greater stability but requires proper planning of fixing points and construction details.
In real projects, the installation method should be selected according to wall material, panel thickness, use environment, construction schedule and maintenance requirements. For offices, schools, hotels and commercial projects, it is important to confirm site conditions before ordering and choose the most suitable installation solution.
